1st and 2nd class focused on the procedural genre of writing for November and December. Procedures are written to explain how something is made or done, in a series of sequenced steps.
Our panda teddy turned into an alien and demanded that we explain to him how to make jelly, step by step. We had to be really careful with the order of our steps to ensure he made the jelly correctly. We made orange and lemon flavoured jelly with orange being the class favourite!
We also discussed how to make healthy homemade pizzas and of course, we had to taste them!!
